The MTV EXIT campaign is a multimedia initiative to raise awareness and increase prevention of human trafficking and modern slavery. Here is a selection of content I worked on while working for the campaign (2012-2014).
A documentary features mega group Project EAR as they play a show in an effort to raise awareness of human trafficking. The show that premiered on MTV ASIA. Producer/Director: Taimoor Sobhan.
The Chinese version of the documentary, entitled "Human Traffic: China", is hosted by Chinese pop artist Han Geng and tells the stories of real people affected by the human trafficking trade in China and the region: Xiaoxiang a young Chinese boy abducted for illegal adoption domestically; Kyi Kyi, a woman from the Irrawaddy delta in Myanmar, trafficked to China for forced marriage; and Thien, a young girl from the northern Vietnam trafficked to China as a forced sex worker. ENSLAVED is MTV EXIT’s flagship documentary series featuring stories of human trafficking in Southeast Asia. This is the Indonesian version, featuring Dian Sastro. I edited the series from 2012-2014.
